Tim Baker MHK takes responsibility for Highway Services

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer MHK has announced a new political delegation, with Tim Baker MHK taking responsibility for Highway Services.

Mr Baker takes on the role in addition to being the Department of Infrastructure’s Member for Ports, and retains his positions as a political Member for the Department of the Environment, Food and Agriculture and chairman of Isle of Man Meats.

Mr Harmer said:

‘I’m delighted Tim has agreed to take on this additional delegation, and I look forward to him providing the Highways division with the conscientious political support required to help deliver the wide range of services it provides.’

Mr Baker said:

‘Highway Services play a key role in all our everyday lives and I look forward to providing strategic oversight to such a busy division, using my experience in the private sector and insight I have gained through three years with the Department of Infrastructure.

‘I have met many of the staff already, who are clearly passionate about the work they do, and look forward to making a positive impact.’
