Horse tram services will be suspended on Monday and Wednesday of TT Race Week (June 4 and 6) between 5pm and 6pm.
The decision has been taken at the request of event organisers to help ease congestion along Douglas sea front following the afternoons’ race schedules.
Isle of Man Transport will run a replacement bus service during the affected times to allow customers to connect with the Manx Electric Railway.
The remainder of the horse tram schedule remains unaffected, with staff expecting to cater for more than 7,000 passenger journeys during the festival fortnight.
