NSC swimming pool opening date
The main swimming pool and changing room facilities at the National Sports Centre are now planned to open to the general public by mid-August.
The facilities are expected to be handed over to the Department on the 2 August. Following the handover from the contractor, necessary training and testing is required. This will take place across the week following the handover, prior to the reopening.
The leisure pool and new flume rides will remain closed following problems encountered with the installation of the new flumes. DESC is continuing discussions with the flume manufacturer and installer in order to resolve this matter.
