Chief Minister to make coronavirus announcements this afternoon

A meeting of the Council of Ministers took place this morning, chaired by Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK, in light of the developing global coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting was held to address concerns over protecting the vulnerable, while taking action over those arriving by air and sea and supporting our community, following extensive work which took place over the weekend.

Mr Quayle:

‘We are focussing on the needs of the Island and I will be making announcements this afternoon following a further meeting of the Council of Ministers. The measures being worked on are designed to ensure life can continue as normally as possible while protecting the needs of our community.’
