The OFT would like to remind the public that the consultation on new Regulations closes on 15 September 2019.

Our aim with the Regulations is to provide greater clarity as to existing consumer protection measures on the Island and ensure that consumers are adequately protected from unfair trading practices, whilst providing legislative alignment with the UK and EU in this area so that trade will not be impeded.
