The Authority has been notified that the Isle of Man Treasury has recently published new and updated information regarding the above Sanction regimes.
The Commission has published its latest statistical data release showing aggregate information about the island’s banking and funds sectors in the form of a “banking bulletin” and a “funds bulletin”.

The Department of Economic Development has issued a public consultation on Preferred Creditor Status under the Isle of Man Depositors’ Compensation Scheme, which the Financial Supervision Commission is publicising on its website for the benefit of its stakeholders.
The Commission issued a public statement on 2 August 2012 in which it stated, “…both industry and public should be assured that the Commission puts considerable emphasis on the suitability of financial advice and, if it encounters issues that may impact its regulatory objectives, it will utilise the various powers available to it…”.
